HUD Program Officer

This important role will be responsible for administering all aspects of program implementation, financial reporting, and budgeting for assigned programmatic funds. The role oversees contract awards, program monitoring, construction activities, and compliance with the HUD 811 Program regulatory requirements. The incumbent will manage a portfolio of complex properties, ensuring accurate financial reporting, budgeting, and adherence to program design and operational standards.

To be successful in this role you must possess:

•    Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent work experience.

•    Several years of experience in a property management or housing compliance role.

•    Ability to navigate software systems and cloud-based applications

•    Must be able to inspect the properties by navigating the buildings, stairways and grounds.

•    Demonstrated organization and prioritization skills and proven attention to detail are essential

•    Innovative problem-solving, negotiation and written & oral communication skills. 

The ideal candidate would also have specific experience in the HUD 811 Program

Hiring Range: $82,000 – $111,000
