Overview

Join Virginia Housing and help make a difference as a Quality Review Analyst. (Hybrid)

This important role will review and perform an extensive analysis of documentation including but not limited to Closing, Post Closing and MRB/MCC of delegated and non-delegated loan packages (which consists of, collateral, limited credit analysis including income calculations) for accuracy, completeness and compliance with all federal (FHA, VA, RD, FNMA, FHLMC), state, Virginia Housing and insuring agency guidelines, in a timely and efficient manner, to allow for timely purchase of loans and issuance of MCC commitments and certificates. All while providing excellent customer service for both internal and external customers. Attends and participates in a variety of agency meetings (RMBA, MBA, VMBA, VA, RD) as representatives of Virginia Housing’s Homeownership Program. Provides lenders with training, as required. Provides excellent customer service to lenders by answering inquiries on a daily basis regarding loan programs, required documentation, Virginia Housing guidelines pre and post-closing issues, as well as a variety of other issues and/or questions that arise during the loan process.

To be successful in this role you must possess:

  • High School diploma or equivalent vocational/technical training and/or work experience.
  • Several years with sufficient experience in the mortgage industry in closing and/or processing loans.
  • Must be knowledgeable of mortgage regulations CFPB, TRID, RESPA, HUD, VA. RHS and Conventional.
  • Strong people and interactive skills.
  • Sound judgment and decision-making abilities.
  • Strong data analytics, planning, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to multi-task.
  • Ability to resolve conflicts.
  • Understanding of technology and its impact on the mortgage industry.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and knowledge.

 

The ideal candidate would also have experience in:

  • Understanding of Mortgage Revenue Bond and IRS regulations as they relate to Virginia Housing is preferred.
  • A.A. Degree preferred.

Hiring Range: $62,000 - $83,500
