Overview

Join Virginia Housing and help make a difference as the HCVP Program Compliance Manager.

This important role plans, directs, and coordinates quality control efforts to ensure the Housing Choice Voucher Program (HCVP) is successfully monitored by staff.  The Program Compliance Manager leads and manages the work and staff of the HCVP Compliance Department and assists leadership and program staff with the interpretation of HUD regulations as well as provides technical assistance to all internal and local housing agencies.  The role maintains relationships with local housing agencies and provides guidance to ensure local agency partners are following program guidelines.

To be successful in this role you must possess:

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Several years of experience (10+ years preferred) in the affordable housing industry, specifically in the Housing Choice Voucher Program. 
  • Previous leadership and people-management experience.
  • Ability to interpret and implement federal regulations with strong knowledge of Housing Choice Voucher Program regulations and guidelines.
  • Strong knowledge of Fair Housing and Section 504 laws and reasonable accommodation requirements.
  • Experience communicating with diverse consumers.
  • Time management and ability to multi-task multiple priorities while meeting deadlines.
  • Prior experience with evaluating programs and analyzing data to improve program compliance and efficiency.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Suite products and HUD reporting systems.

Hiring Range: $92,886 - $120,751
