This important role will be responsible for working with multiple Virginia Housing staff attorneys to document and close Virginia Housing’s rental housing (multi-family) mortgage loans. Paralegal responsibilities include preparing multi-family loan documents, opening and maintaining both hard-copy and digital files and binders, conducting preliminary reviews of loan closing documents and other required submissions for loan closing, proactively assisting staff attorneys with resolving issues impacting loan closings and maintaining loan closing timeliness. The role has significant responsibility in assisting Virginia Housing’s staff attorneys with servicing issues such as real estate owned (REO), foreclosures, short sales, workouts, loan increases/restructures, transfers of ownership interest, and loan assumptions.

Hiring Range: $61,074 - $79,395
This is a hybrid position reporting to our Glen Allen, VA office.
