This important role will be responsible for creating and documenting the current and future state architectures, standards, and strategies for the technology team through a deep understanding of the underlying enterprise business drivers. They are also responsible for working with both business and technology stakeholders on defining the architecture and high-level design on important and complex projects and programs. The Solutions Architect analyzes technologies and strategies of the competitive landscape to determine potential impacts and trends. They use this information to inform the enterprise and respond with recommendations to senior leadership when necessary.

To be successful in this role you must possess:

  • Several years, preferably 7+ years of experience in at least two IT solution development disciplines, including technical or infrastructure architecture, application development, or cloud development.
  • Several years of experience architecting and designing cloud-based end-to-end business solutions, preferably using Azure.
  • Experience with utilizing various application development languages (C#, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Python, etc.) and development methodologies (N-tier architecture, APIs, etc.).
  • Experience with utilizing various Relational Database Management Systems and NoSQL database technologies such as SQL Server, MySQL, Cosmos DB, etc.
  • Experience developing architecture blueprints, strategies, and roadmaps.

 

The ideal candidate would also have experience in:

  • Good understanding of strategic and new and emerging technology trends, and the practical application of existing, new and emerging technologies to new and evolving business and operating models.
  • Excellent analytical, planning, organizational and technical and skills.
  • Understanding and knowledge of IT service management (ITSM) and Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL).
  • Good understanding of product management, agile principles, and development lifecycle methodologies and capability of supporting agile teams by providing advice and guidance on opportunities, impact, and risks, taking account of technical and architectural debt.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills that appeal to both business and technology audiences.
  • Understanding and knowledge of security designs such as zero-trust and least privilege.

Hiring Range: $103,705 - $134,813
